“Would stay there again”

“I stayed at this hotel with my teenager for a midweek visit in August. The room was clean and ready upon arrival. Check-in took about five minutes. We were only notified of ongoing renovations the day before arrival, too late to cancel. The hotel allowed a late checkout of just one extra hour, even when we offered to pay for more time. Front desk staff seemed unhelpful and at times unavailable. Communication was lacking, especially regarding late checkout. Advance notice of renovations would...

“Great place to stay! Convenient location. Kind of difficult to access right now due to some construction without Great signage until after you drive past it but worth the minor bother to stay here!”

“Room was clean, breakfast was great. The only complaint I had was they wanted to shut the pool down during normal operating hours for cleaning… why not clean it during the night when it’s already closed? We stayed at that hotel specifically for the pool and slides only to be told it was going to be closed. Thankfully, they delayed the closing so my family could enjoy the pool and slides. Thank you staff for doing that, my kids loved it!”

“I arrived fairly late and the check in was by a kiosk which I wasn't real happy about. The person isn't there to see what's happening and couldn't help the person in front of me who had the wrong date for check in. There's no elevator but it's only 2 levels. It's an older hotel and needs an update with worn carpets, etc. It's in an ok part of town and felt safe. There was a good variety of items for breakfast. The air conditioning worked well. “Staff member was excellent but first room had not been vacuumed so had pistachio shells on the carpet. The next room had 2 dead bugs on the floor that I googled to ensure what they were and it said a type of cricket. Not sure how it had a 9.2 or was it 9.4 rating and we paid $178.00 Canadian for it. Would not stay there again.”

“Yes, the A/C worked well. Breakfast was adequate. Office was closed from 10pm until 8am which could prove to be bad for late night check-in.”

“Our reservation was canceled by the motel because they said nothing was available due to of some sort of mix up with online booking. We have never had a problem when booking with Expedia. Unacceptable.”
